The Economics Association of Zambia headed by Dr. Lubinda Habazoka organized the National Economic Summit bringing together various leaders of the Zambian Economy and World leaders for the inaugural summit to discuss various economic activities and challenges being faced by Zambia and the African continent. The theme dabbled “The Future of Economic Diplomacy and Promoting Inclusive Growth and Sustainable Development in Africa”. This theme was chosen in line with the current Economic development thinking that the Zambian economy was currently facing.
The Theme also fits into the United Nations agenda 2030 that focuses on “Sustainable Development Goals” and the African Union agenda 2063 “ The Africa we want” and also at national Level were the theme fits in the 7th National Development Plan that feeds into vision 2030. The National Coordinator of SMART Zambia presented on the E-Government implementation focusing on G2G, G2C and G2B online services.
