3. First Technical Committee Meeting on E-Government Plan

– A milestone was achieved with Zambia hosting its first technical committee meeting focused on enhancing the Electronic Government Procurement (e-GP) system.

4. Disaster Response via Digital Solutions

– An interactive meeting between SMART Zambia and **DMMU’s Dr. Gabriel Pollen** explored digital solutions for tracking disaster relief and beneficiary payments amid a severe drought.

5. Digital Government Africa Summit

Date: 2nd–4th October 2024  

-Leaders at the summit, including Mr. Chinyama, highlighted the need for collaboration and consensus on digital governance technologies across African nations.

6. Strengthening Partnerships

Date: 29th October 2024  

Representatives from IDEMIA and Afiswitch (Pty) Ltd engaged with SMART Zambia to advance secure digital identity and bolster Zambia’s digital transformation efforts.

7. Presenting CDF-MIS to Parliament

Date: 28th October 2024  

SMART Zambia introduced the Constituency Development Fund Management Information System (CDF-MIS) to parliamentary committees, seeking support for its implementation.
