SMART Zambia Director for Digital Government Services, Mr. Mulomba Hameja, has expressed happiness for the launch of the Digital Transformation Change Management Strategy.

He said the strategy will align with the Electronic Government Act 41 of 2021 that will provide the strategic direction of the implementation of the digital transformation agenda in the public service.

Mr Hameja stated that this strategy aims to strengthen the digital transformation agenda within public service, enhancing how the government delivers public services. It is expected to improve access to electronic government services and information, thereby increasing their usage by citizens.

He emphasized that the strategy will make services more accessible and efficient, reducing bureaucracy and optimizing service delivery. Furthermore, it will leverage technology to enhance transparency, improve governance, and build public trust.
