Smart Zambia National Coordinator, Percy Chinyama has urged African countries to be practical about the transformation agenda if the continent is to harness digitization in e-governance.

Mr Chinyama said this in a presentation on Africa’s Digital Transformation through Digital Technologies during a side meeting at the 2024 China-Africa Internet Development and Cooperation Forum in Xiamen, China.

The SMART Zambia Institute is a Division under the Office of the President mandated to coordinate and implement electronic government (E-Government) for the citizens, businesses and within government for improved service delivery. The Institute was established through a Government Gazette notice No 836 of 2016.
